'The Midway Collection' When asked by members of the US Navy, to paint something to depict the 'Battle of Midway', Keiths' choice was the PBY 5 that located the Japanese carrier force. Originally this was to be the only 'Midway' painting. However Keith became so intrigued by this historic battle that he has already completed two paintings and intends to produce a 'mini series' of up to six pictures. To find out more go to Midway Collection -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Keith Hill Studios - Overview Keith has been a full time artist for almost 15 years and has built up a solid reputation in the local area and beyond for his continued support of local events and his depiction of our local heroes stories in his artwork. Not only is his work known locally however, many of his pieces reside in important buildings in this country and abroad including the Pentagon. With artwork displayed in museums and offices across the World, from London to Washington to New Zealand, his ability to reach out to many different people with his subject matter is emphasised. A Little About What We Do Keith paints original works of mainly aviation or railway subjects using oil on canvas. Either these paintings are commissions to a specification or his own work which is then reproduced as high quality Limited Edition prints which are then only available through Keith or a few selective retailers. The prints are available framed or unframed, however Keith uses an expert framer who ensures a complimenting framing option to suit all decors. As a small family run business, the personal touch is essential to our reputation and as we exhibit at many local or important events we become familiar faces to many of our regular customers.
