' Twinwood The Legend ' - Keith Hill
© KEITH HILL
On December 15th 1944 a 'Norseman' aircraft departs RAF Twinwood Farm for Paris. One of it's two passengers is
Major Glenn Miller the well known bandleader. Sadly the aircraft and Major disappeared enroute to Paris.

This print is the first in a collection of commissioned original oil paintings by Twinwood Events, Ltd,  the owners of
Twinwood Airfield.
It is from this Airfield that Glenn Miller left on his final flight before disappearing to become one of this countried
greatest legends. The control tower has been faithfully restored, and includes a gallery of Keith's artwork.
The site is
best known for the Glenn Miller Festival held on August Bank Holiday, with more details available on the Events page
