| This picture depicts two Spitfires of the US Navy, Composite Squadron Seven, crossing the Normandy beachead. Aircraft of CVN-7 were used as 'spotters; for the battleships off the Normandy coast. These ships could fire up to 22 miles inland. The print is signed by 6 Normandy Veterans.
